Face Mask Filters

USA-Made Face Mask Filters

Our face mask filters are HEPA-11 filters, made in the USA from high quality H11 grade materials. HEPA-11 filters have a filter rating of 99.97 filtration @0.3 microns which gives 95% filter rating. This is equivalent to an N95 medical mask and is far superior protection to Chinese made PM2.5 filters which offer 50% filter rating.

The mask filter dimensions are 5″ x 4″ and easily slide in to any of our custom masks. These filters are fibreglass free, breathable, ultra-soft and easy to insert.

High performance filtration media – Melt Blowing

Melt Blown nonwovens are nonwoven production methods in which high content thermoplastic polymers such as PP (polypropylene) are melted and extruded through a nozzle. In the case of complex spinning, two types of high polymer resins are used to transfer the high polymer melt to the dosing pump through the extruder, distribution valve and nozzle. This is a nonwoven production process in which high temperature air at high pressure is introduced into the molten polymer during spinning and then laminated, while a specialized conveyor belt combines with the self-adhesive properties of the residual heat in the form of a nonwoven fabric.

High performance filter material, air filter

It has excellent tensile strength, tensile strength and impact resistance, producing man-friendly and highly flexible urethane materials in a non-woven fabric through the fusion process.

In addition, it can be used continuously for a long period of time, as it has excellent rebound resistance and recovery elasticity. This elastic non-woven fabric is more environmentally friendly and safer for humans than PVC materials. It is made of fabric materials and has excellent breathability, which provides a feeling of freshness to its users without irritating the skin.

What is CMYK?

In offset printing, the standard color mode used in CMYK. CMYK, or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black represent the four process colours in this mode. When you are creating your files, be sure to check the color mode as programs like Photoshop by default use RBG color, not CMYK. CMYK may look more dull on a computer screen than RGB; more noticeable in large solid color areas.

Accepted File Formats

We require industry standard formats for all uploaded files. We keep quality in mind when we print every job. We accept the following file formats: TIF – JPG – PDF – EPS – PSD. We accept CorelDraw, Pagemaker & Quark or similar files by converting them to industry standard graphic formats like JPG, TIF or PDF.

Rich Black vs 100% Black

Large black areas or fonts bigger than 36 points should use Rich Black which stops areas appearing gray. Rich Black is created with 30% Cyan, 30% Magenta, 30% Yellow, 100% Black. This setup will keep black areas looking rich and bold. For best results with regular body text, do not use Rich Black.

What Paper to Choose?

Paper should be addressed first in your design work. With postcards, the best option is to choose a thicker cardstock instead of a thinner text weight. The difference between these 2 types of paper is thickness. Our text weight is based on pounds and our card stock is weighted by points. Want to feel the difference? Order a Free Sample Kit today.

What is Font Outlining?

We might not have the same fonts on our systems as your computer, so when saving your files in a vector based program (Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, CorelDraw) please outline your fonts. This will convert them to a vector image, will not effect the clarity and will allow us to see the same text as you see on your screen.

Coating Types

We have many coating options at Printing New York. Matte, UV, silk and spot UV. Choose the coating based on your application. For example, if you want to write on your cards with a pen, do not choose UV coating as a pen won’t write on it. In this case a matte or uncoated stock coating would suit. Choose UV coating for flyers or banners and our rich silk gives a touch of elegance; 16pt stock a more durable feeling.

The mask base is of good quality, and the picture screen printing is of good quality. Ordered on December 4th, received on December 28th. I didn’t make it in time for Christmas. UPS is not assisting these individuals. It was delivered on the 9th, therefore it was not their fault. Take this into consideration if you require it quickly.

The logo is a little dull, and the mask isn’t as customizable as it appears in the photo. Also, the logo isn’t as large as I expected, but it works. I didn’t get what I expected, but it was still worth it.

The first 1500 masks were stunning and of excellent quality. The second batch of 2500 masks was made of an entirely different material with terrible printing quality. This isn’t consistent. Very dissatisfied. Update: Customer care responded quickly and shown a desire to resolve the situation, so I will give them another try.
