From business cards to brochures to banners, we’ve got you covered
Spiral binding, or coil binding is the most commonly found binding type for print documents. This method of binding uses a plastic spiral coil and a special binding machine. The machine punctures the sheets along one side to create holes and then spins the coil through them to hold the sheets together. We use this form of binding commonly for notebooks and documents.
Documents with spiral binding are able to open flat on a table or desk with 360 degree rotation of the pages making them perfect for writing and taking notes and folding back the cover pages. The spiral coils are very resistant to crushing and bending as they are made from stiff wire. This durability makes them perfect for documents that need to be mailed and need extra protection.
Printing New York offers spiral binding on a range of printed products.
